Privacy Policy

For Deceptor, a game by Nidly Studios · Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nidly Studios (“we,” “us”) handles information when you play Deceptor (the “Game”), available on the web at deceptor.nidlystudios.com and, in the future, on the App Store and Google Play. By playing the Game, you agree to this policy. If you have questions, contact us at nidlyapp@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide. To join a multiplayer match you choose a display name (nickname). You do not need to create an account or give us your real name, email, or other contact details to play the web game.
  • Gameplay & multiplayer data. To run live matches we temporarily store room codes, player nicknames, and in-game actions. This data exists only to operate the current game session.
  • Automatically collected data. Like most online services, we and our providers receive basic technical and usage information — such as device type, browser, operating system, IP address, and general interaction data — needed to run and secure the Game.
  • Advertising identifiers & cookies. Our advertising partner (Google) uses cookies and device identifiers to show and measure ads. See “Advertising” below.

2. How we use information

  • Operate the Game and synchronize multiplayer sessions.
  • Maintain security, prevent cheating, and detect abuse.
  • Understand how the Game is used so we can improve it.
  • Show and measure advertising.

3. Advertising

We show ads through Google (Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob on mobile). Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure their performance.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we request consent before personalized ads are shown, via a Google-certified consent message. You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and learn more or opt out of interest-based ads at aboutads.info. For details on how Google uses data, see Google’s partner privacy notice.

4. Third-party services

We use Google Firebase (hosting and Realtime Database) to run the Game and its multiplayer features, and Google advertising services to show ads. These providers process data on our behalf and under Google’s own privacy terms.

5. Data retention

Multiplayer and session data is kept only as long as needed to run a game and is deleted shortly after the match ends. Technical logs and advertising data are retained according to our providers’ standard retention periods.

6. Children’s privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not serve personalized ads to users identified as children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example, the EEA and UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA) — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict your information, and to opt out of personalized advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of your data. Because the web game does not require an account, we often hold little or no information that identifies you personally. To make a request, email nidlyapp@gmail.com.

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
